Virginie Puertolas-Syn

I'm French but I live in London, a city I love.

I believe we have more than one life and reinventing yourself is an artistic act.
In a previous life, I studied political science (Master -Science Po, Paris) and I was a business woman navigating in the murky waters of the corporate world.
For this new one, I returned to my real interest in life: Art.

I went back to school: at l'Ecole du Louvre in Paris and doing a Master of Art Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. I worked for galleries and Art Advisory firms both in Paris and in London.

Having lived, worked and travelled in Asia (for a decade!) and in Europe, I aim to be a bridge between Europe and Asia for Artists, Galleries and Collectors.

Last year I was involved in an artist-led exhibition in London : The Space Between (www.thespacebetween.org.uk).

I'm currently producing a major exhibition project together with curator Predrag Pajdic : Lingering Whispers which will take place in London from the 6th of May to 6th of June 2010 : http://lingering-whispers.com/
I'm a Consultant Lecturer at Sothebys Institute of Art in London.
